History of Greenough Wildlife Park
Greenough wildlife park originally started as Nevedale Sanctuary back in 1979 by Eric and Elsie Whyatt and has been home to a variety of animals over the years which includes native and non native species – these animals have been either rescued or donated and even purchased and will all live out their happy healthy lives here while visitors get to enjoy interacting with them as they all enjoy the attention they receive and all the money that is made from admission goes back into the park to keep these animals with a forever home as unfortunately not all animals can be released back into the wild this is a unique experience for travelers and locals to the Midwest as it’s the only place of its kind in the area.
